I haven't posted a journal on here for about... 112 days. O-o Niiiiiiice. But yeah. I'm not dead. I just have had more important matters on my hand. Schoolwork, college and scholarship applications, extracurricular stuff.... yeah, you get the idea. So far my senior year isn't that bad. I'm really enjoying it, despite the stress at the beginning of the year (due to college application stuff). Honestly, though, I'm surprised at how quickly the end of the first semester came. That's right. School (for me, at least) starts tomorrow. I think it's bittersweet, to be honest. I mean, I'm excited to be a senior and that I get to see all my friends... but I think this year is going to be one of the most stressful I've ever had, what with college and scholarship applications and whatnot. I've finished my summer reading, which is good. xD I ultimately decided to read J. R. R. Tolkien's The Hobbit, which was a FANTASTIC book. I'm going to start to read the rest of the Lord of the Rings now, of which The Hobbit is a prelude to. I also read The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, and that was a good book
